Why VEKTRA Cares

Our firm has a long history of supporting charitable organizations and community causes.

Rather than creating programs that duplicate the work already being done by outstanding nonprofit organizations, we believe our greatest impact often comes from helping those organizations do more of what they already do well.

So we start by asking:

  • Where is there a real need?
  • Who is already doing great work to address it?
  • And how can the VEKTRA community help?

Throughout the year, VEKTRA Cares selects organizations and causes to highlight, shares their specific needs, and creates opportunities for our team, clients, and community to participate.

The goal is simple:

Connect people who want to help with organizations that need their support.

How VEKTRA Cares

Find the Need. Support the People Solving It.

We believe community involvement should be purposeful.

For each VEKTRA Cares initiative, we seek to identify a specific need and an organization already making a meaningful difference.

Our role is to help amplify that work.

Depending on the organization and need, VEKTRA Cares initiatives may include:

  • Donation drives
  • Food, clothing, school supply, or essential-item collections
  • Holiday giving programs
  • Community events
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Fundraising campaigns
  • Client and team participation
  • Support for local families and children
  • Partnerships with established charitable organizations

Each initiative is different because each community need is different.

Giving Together

One of the most rewarding parts of our community efforts has always been seeing our clients, team members, families, and friends participate alongside us.

VEKTRA Cares is not intended to be something the firm does alone.

When we identify a cause, we share the story behind it, explain the need, and give members of the VEKTRA community the opportunity to participate if the cause is meaningful to them.

  • There is never an expectation to give.
  • There is simply an invitation to help.
  • Sometimes that means donating an item.
  • Sometimes it means making a financial contribution.
  • Sometimes it means volunteering time.

And sometimes the greatest contribution is simply helping more people learn about an organization doing important work.

Small acts multiplied across a community can create meaningful change.

Causes That Matter

Our community initiatives may change throughout the year, allowing us to support different organizations and different needs.

We especially value opportunities that directly improve the lives of individuals and families in the communities we serve.

Past community efforts have included charitable drives and events supporting local organizations, including initiatives benefiting children and families in Arizona. The former Phocus community program, for example, used specific fundraising opportunities to highlight an organization’s needs rather than attempting to build competing charitable programs.

That philosophy continues with VEKTRA Cares.

Find organizations doing great work. Understand what they need. Help bring people together to support them.

More Than Business

Our relationships with clients have always extended beyond tax returns, investments, insurance policies, estate plans, and financial decisions.
