Mike Lowry is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and independent insurance professional who helps business owners and families protect what they’ve worked hard to build. With nearly two decades of experience, Mike brings a practical, relationship-driven approach to commercial and personal insurance.

Mike began his insurance career in 2006 and became an independent agent in 2008. Since then, he has developed broad experience across a variety of industries, including extensive work with small businesses and nonprofit organizations. His focus is not simply on placing coverage, but on understanding each client’s unique risks, identifying potential gaps, and helping clients make informed decisions about protecting their businesses, families, and assets.

As part of the Vektra Insurance team, Mike supports Vektra’s integrated approach to helping clients save, build, and protect their wealth. By coordinating insurance with the broader tax, wealth, estate, and benefits picture, Mike helps ensure risk management is part of the overall strategy—not an isolated decision.

A longtime Arizona resident, Mike has built trusted relationships with families and businesses throughout the state. His commitment to service extends beyond his professional work. He spent more than 12 years with the Camelback Kiwanis service club, serving in several leadership roles, including twice as president and as Kiwanis International Southwest District Risk Manager. He is also active in his local church and helps lead its men’s ministry.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Idaho.

Outside the office, Mike and his wife, Carlene, enjoy life in North Central Phoenix near Piestewa Peak, where they spend plenty of time on the trails. They have three children who keep family life active and rewarding.
